Ouyang Chun

About

Ouyang Chun

The theme of Ouyang Chun's paintings returns from the early fairy tale world to his own experience, alternately juxtaposes the fictional world and the real world, and pursues the pure feeling of painting in terms of brushwork. At the same time, his rich life experience and attachment to reality have shaped his unique view of the material world, his composite narrative, and his sense of fragmentation and oblivion. Whether in paintings, installations or sculptures, Ouyang Chun often piles up magnificent and wonderful landscapes and poetry with simple and vigorous brushstrokes and objects forgotten by us. His works have been collected by the Austrian National Gallery, the Long Museum, the Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art, the Collector's Museum and many other important art institutions.
