Zeng Xi
Zeng Xi, born in 1984 in Lengshuijiang, Hunan Province, graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2012 with a master's degree in literature. Since 2013, he has been teaching in the Fifth Studio of the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and is the head of the Basic Teaching and Research Section of the Oil Painting Department.
From 2013, Zeng Xi began to break through the limitations of traditional oil painting materials, including plexiglass and mirror stainless steel. His works are related to viewing, and the combination of audience, space and works is the way to interpret his works. He will through the visual form of tension, mirror image, mirror symmetry and object size gradient in the work of light refraction, light and rhyme coordination interweave, bring a person different from the actual space form of aesthetic and psychological changes, extend deep to find "emotional melody", create a warm, meditation and reflection caused by space atmosphere.
