Born in Fujian, China in 1997, the artist graduated from the Fourth Studio of the Oil Painting Department at the China Academy of Art (CAA) with a bachelor’s degree in 2019. In 2022, he was admitted to the master’s program in the Oil Painting Department at CAA and currently lives and works in Hangzhou. His creative practice focuses on reorganizing the identity markers of clothing through juxtaposition, collage, reconstruction, and other methods using fashion patterns from magazines and self-taken photographs. It explores the symbolism of clothing in the era of consumerism and reflects on contemporary fashion fetishism.
